Brian Morrison, local Steward for the National Association of Letter Carriers, confirmed on Wednesday morning that Saturday’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive, a national program, will indeed take place per the postcards delivered this week.
Items collected by Bedford’s letter carriers will be delivered to the Burlington Food Bank due to the logistical problems that led Bedford Community Table and Pantry to cancel their participation in this year’s drive.
