Now We Are Six

By A.A. Milne, and The Bedford Citizen

When I was one,
I had just begun.

When I was two,
I was nearly new.

When I was three,
I was hardly me.

When I was four,
I was not much more.

When I was five,
I was just alive.

But now I am six, I’m as clever as clever.
So I think I’ll be six now for ever and ever.

The Bedford Citizen posted its first story on June 24, 2012 – Kim Siebert MacPhail’s report on the June 18 Selectmen’s meeting. Later that week we posted articles about Bedford’s possible participation in Massachusetts’ Military Task Force, changes to the Great Road at the site of the now-demolished Travelodge motel, and summer activities at the Bedford Library.

On June 29, 2012 – six years and a day from today – we posted the announcement of The Bedford Citizen’s intent to bring the news of Bedford’s government, its organizations, and its residents to you, our readers. As we begin our seventh year our commitment remains strong, and with your support as The Citizen’s readers, reporters, news sources, and contributors we’re looking forward to the future.

Thank you for your past and your future commitment to The Bedford Citizen‘s success.
