Mark Siegenthaler Appointed to Fill Planning Board Vacancy

By Jeffrey Epstein

Former Selectman Mark Siegenthaler is coming back to duty in Bedford. The Planning Board, meeting in conjunction with the Selectmen on August 6, chose Siegenthaler to fill the vacancy caused by the departure of member Tim Gray.

Siegenthaler is also a former member of the Planning Board and has over 30 years of project and planning experience. He was interviewed for the slot along with the other candidate, Bill Sayles, and was ultimately chosen by unanimous vote with the support of the Selectmen.

The term Siegenthaler is filling expires June 30, 2020. However, Siegenthaler will actually only serve until the 2019 Annual Town Election, when he can then stand for election to the remaining year of the term if he chooses.
