Volunteers Needed on Town Committees

Submitted by the Volunteer Coordinating Committee

The Town of Bedford is looking for volunteers to serve on town committees. Currently, there are a number of openings, and throughout the year new openings occur.

The Town would like to have a list of names of interested residents to fill the existing and future openings.   So, if you are thinking about helping your town, now or in the future, we encourage you to attend a meeting of the committee(s) that you are interested in and fill out a questionnaire form and submit it.

If you are selected you will be notified to attend a meeting with the appointing authority (typically the Selectmen) for an interview.

All meetings are open to the public and schedules are on the town website. If you are unsure and would like to talk to someone, feel free to reach out to the Chair or member of your chosen committee or any member of the Bedford Volunteer Coordinating Committee. Contact info is also on the town website.
