No scoreboard needed. The last scrimmage of the preseason between the Shawsheen Tech Rams and the Bedford Bucs didn’t need one.

Both teams were in the final “tune-ups” to begin the 2018 season.  Both teams were still in their practice uniforms, but when they to school go head to head in sports friends turn into rivals. Both teams are looking to advance into the football playoff schedule.

The first stringers got to play a full half including punts and extra points.  The second stringers and third stringers both got a chance to show off in front of the head coaches with a defined number of offensive plays for each side.

Both Bedford and Shawsheen open their seasons with non-conference games on Friday, September 7 at 7 pm. Bedford will take on Burlington High School in Burlington, and Shawsheen will play Wilmington High School in Wilmington.
