Monday, October 1, 2018, marked the first day of Sarah Stanton’s tenure as Bedford’s new Town Manager.

The day began with an 8 am Swearing In ceremony in the Selectmen’s meeting room, attended by Department Heads and the Selectmen, and ended with Stanton’s first Selectmen’s meeting.

When asked about her first week, Stanton pointed to Wednesday’s International Walk Bike to School Day. “I loved the walk to school. Always best to start the day hearing the thoughts and feelings of 9-year-olds!”
