Yesterday’s high bid in the GSA auction for the Navy hangar prevailed until shortly before the auction was scheduled to end at 11:30 am CDT this morning.
Almost simultaneously, Bidders 4 and 6 each offered an additional $20,000 with bids entered at 09:48:17.0429 AM CDT and 09:48:17.0554 AM CDT. By their bids, the auction is extended until 9:48 am CDT on Friday, November 30.
At noon on Thursday, November 29, Bidder 6 held the lead at $7,160,000.
The Navy hangar is located at the edge of Hanscom Field, along Hartwell Road in Bedford; built in 1959, it has been unoccupied for many years.
