Bedford sports teams field a pair of Thanksgiving Classics. In addition to Thursday morning’s football game, there’s an ice hockey game featuring the BHS Hockey team and an alumni team that includes town employees. It’s played at The Edge Sports Center, and this year it begins at 12:40 pm in the lower rink.
The game is a fundraiser for the Asperger’s/Autism Network; in 2017 the event raised $1,260 and the organizers would like to raise that or more this year.
Admision is just $5 per person, with kids under 10 free if they bring a non-perishable donation to a local food pantry.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Bucs hockey program, along with a lot of raffle prizes.
