Board of Health Announces Wednesday Afternoon Flu Clinic Schedule

November 6, 2018

Submitted by the Bedford Board of Health

Getting vaccinated is the best way to prevent getting the flu.  The Board of Health is offering free flu shots at the Town Center (yellow building behind Town Hall), 12 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA to all Bedford residents (6 months of age and older) on Wednesday afternoons.

From November 7 through December 12 between 2 and 3 pm, flu shots will be administered in the Board of Health office on the 2nd floor of Town Center, the yellow building at 12 Mudge Way. Please call for an appointment, and plan to wear clothing that allows for easy access to an arm for vaccine administration.

There will be no clinic on the day before Thanksgiving because Town Offices will be closed on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 21.

There will be a limited number of both FluMist doses for children 3 to 18 years of age and high-dose formulations for those 65 and older.  Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If residents are unable to make any of the scheduled times, individual appointments can be made.

f you would like to save time, print and complete your flu shot registration form in advance of the clinic by navigating to the Bedford Board of Health website and click on the link: 2018 – 2019 Flu Registration Form.  Bring this completed form and your health insurance card(s) to the clinic.

If you would like to schedule an appointment or have any questions about these scheduled times or the Flu Vaccine, please contact the Bedford Board of Health at 781-275-6507 or visit the Board of Health website at www.bedfordma.gov/health.
