Sarah Stanton recently assumed her new role as the Bedford Town Manager.   Like any new employee, she has spent her first couple weeks getting to know more about Bedford, its people, processes, and challenges.   Tuesday evening she attended her first Bedford Town Meeting and was introduced to the attendees who welcomed her with a round of applause.

Sunday afternoon, November 18 at 2:00 pm, the Bedford League of Women Voters (LWV) invites Bedford residents to a “Meet and Greet” with Sarah Stanton at the Bedford Library.  It will be an opportunity to hear more about her background and her initial impressions of our community.  There will also be time for participants to ask questions or express opinions about issues to which they think she needs to give attention.

Ms. Stanton previously served as the Budget Director for the Cambridge.  Prior to that position, she was the Chief Financial Officer and City Auditor for Salem.  Additional experience includes positions in Woburn, Haverhill, and Ipswich.
