Come to sing ~ Come to celebrate the holiday season!

Sing Noel! at 3:00 pm on Sunday December 2 in the sanctuary at Bedford’s historic meetinghouse, First Parish on Bedford Common, 75 The Great Road, Bedford, MA.

The First Parish Music Committee presents a festive holiday concert featuring the First Parish Quartet and Lorraine and Bennett Hammond in a program of songs of Christmas, beloved and uncommon, ancient and modern.

Combining the fine voices of Carol Krusemark, Laura Kalb, Buffie Groves and Larry Herz, the First Parish Quartet will perform ancient carols, and Renaissance and Baroque traditional and classical Christmas offerings of Praetorius, Bach, and others.

Since forming four years ago, the group often treats audiences to their beautiful blend during church services. They have also performed for the residents of Carleton-Willard and for Bedford community events.

Lorraine and Bennett Hammond are outstanding multi-instrumentalists playing in perfect complement, blending their instruments and creating a beautiful new voice for songs and tunes that range in style from classical music through Celtic, blues and contemporary. They will present both traditional and original songs, reflecting a variety of influences from American and European traditions.   Come to listen!

A reception with festive refreshments will follow the concert. Suggested donation at the door: Adults $20, Seniors & Students $15 Proceeds to benefit First Parish

The meeting house is fully accessible using the Elm Street entrance. If you have questions, please call 781-275-7994.
