It’s Time for Trivia, Are You Ready? CSF Trivia Night on January 26!

Where will you be at 6 pm on Saturday, January 26? If you are a fan of HQ Trivia, Confetti on Facebook, or trivia nights at Red Heat Tavern or The 99 Restaurant, you absolutely need to be at the CSF Trivia Night with your family, friends, and neighbors in the St. Michael Parish Hall for an evening of fun to support scholarships for Bedford students.

Trivia Question #1: How many 2018 Bedford graduates received scholarship assistance from Citizens Scholarship Foundation (CSF) of Bedford Dollars for Scholars?
Trivia Answer #1: There were 108 CSF scholarship recipients in 2018, totaling $130,000. Since 1965, more than $2.3 million has been awarded to more than 3,200 Bedford students.

Any senior graduating from Bedford High School or any Bedford or Hanscom Air Force Base resident graduating from another secondary school, completing home-schooling, or completing GED requirements may apply for scholarship assistance, provided the student will be attending a four-year college, two-year college, or technical or vocational school.

The doors for CSF Trivia Night will open at 6 pm. Tables accommodate 8-10 players. You can field your own team or join an open table. Many teams coordinate and bring a picnic supper (take out or home prepared) to enjoy during the warm-up. Complimentary soft drinks, water, snacks, and desserts will be available. Trivia gets underway at 6:45 and responses are a team effort. Competition is friendly among the tables of family members, friends, neighbors, community groups, and trivia fans of all ages. Prizes are awarded at the end of the evening to the two highest scoring teams.

CSF coordinators for the event include Jean Segal, Ron Stewart, Bobbie Ennis, Sarah Dorer, and Sheryl Barkan.

Generous local businesses have donated prizes that will be distributed throughout the evening – Chateau Restaurant, Red Heat Tavern, Renzo Salon, Express Pizza, T&L Nails, Great Road Gallery & Framing, and more. A great selection of raffle baskets will also be available for bid. The trivia contest for the evening will be hosted and managed by Stump! Trivia.
