Reaching Out to Area Residents Affected by the Current Federal Government Shutdown

January 13, 2019

Peter Grey,President Bedford Community Table/Pantry

The Bedford Community Table/Pantry, in order to provide some form of help to area residents affected by the current Federal Government shutdown, is offering the following:

Federal employees who are in need of supplemental food may join us by visiting on any Thursday between the hours of 4:30 to 6:00.

In lieu of making out an application to become a member of the food pantry, these individuals may simply show their federal employee identification card and provide us with the number of persons in their household.

They in turn will be provided with prepackaged supplemental food bags and will be allowed to choose from other items we offer on a regular basis.

It should be noted that anyone is welcome to partake in our free community dinner which begins at 5 pm and ends at 6 pm, also on Thursdays at the Town Center.

Additional information is available on our Web site, www.BedfordFoodPantry.org, or by calling 781-275-7355.
