Stop the Bleed Training Set for February 13

Captain Mark Sullivan of the Bedford Fire Department confirmed that a second Stop the Bleed training will take place at 7 pm on February 13 in the Flint Room at the Town Center.

The first training was filled to capacity, and the February session is expected to fill as well.

One participant posted her thanks to the Fire Department on social media: She used three hints from the class within a week – Stop to help even if others do, be calm and reassuring, and help the EMT’s know exactly where to find you. Another participant said that he appreciated knowing the techniques taught in the class to supplement his basic first aid and CPR skills.
