Town offices are closed on February 18 for President’s Day, and trash/recycling collection will be delayed to Tuesday.
While Town offices will be open the remainder of the week, Town Boards and Committees have few meetings scheduled for School Vacation Week.
The Volunteer Coordinating Committee is meeting on February 19 at 9 am in Town Hall. The only other meeting, posted by press time, is the Energy and Sustainability Committee, which will meet on Thursday, February at 7:30 at Town Hall.
Formerly known as the Energy Task Force, the committee’s mission is: “The Energy and Sustainability Committee will proactively identify and advise the Selectmen on policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively manage municipal and school energy expenditures and reduce community greenhouse gas emissions. “
