Bedford TV will offer two classes for students at Lane Elementary and John Glenn Middle School, beginning in April.
Making a Short Film, for students in grades 3-5: Students will work together to script, act, and produce a movie as a group. They will learn about the movie-making process, starting with pre-production planning, shooting and performing (including green screen), and editing. A private video link to the programs produced by students will be provided at the end of the course. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the studio.
Tuesdays for six weeks ~ April 23 through May 28, from 3:30 to-5 pm
The class meets at the Bedford TV Studio, 16 South Road
Fee: $180
Shooting & Editing for TV, for students in grades 6-8: This seriously fun course teaches first-time students the basics of video production. Participants will be taught important shooting techniques, how to upload footage onto the computer, and how to begin the process of editing, including adding titles, transitions, and music. A private video link to the programs produced by students will be provided at the end of the course. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the studio.
Wednesdays for four weeks ~ April 25 through May 15 frin 1 to 3 pm
