Hard to believe, but it’s the final week before Annual Town Meeting!
Taking place this week: School Committee interviews, the State of Hanscom report presented by Airport Director Sharon Williams, final preparations for ATM in other committees!
Bedford’s School Committee will meet at 7:30 pm in the large group instruction room at the high school for interviews with Assistant Superintendent finalists. The committee will also review the EDCO Articles of Agreement (EDCO is an educational collaborative)
The Hanscom Field Advisory Commission will meet at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 19 in Room 308 at the Civil Air Terminal, 200 Hanscom Drive. Airport Director Sharon Williams will present her annual report, “The State of Hanscom.” Massport staff will also present their monthly noise report and an update on capital projects and third-party development. Citizen comments are invited.
The Arbor Resources Committee will meet at Town Hall on Thursday at 7:30 pm. They will hear an update from Public Works on various projects, plan for Arbor Day, and review the Tree List in terms of climate change options. The Energy and Sustainability Committee will also meet on Thursday to prepare for Annual Town Meeting and consider redemption rates for small bottles and nips.
