Eugene V. McAuliffe, a former Bedford resident, passed away on April 9. Mr. McAuliffe taught middle school English and Social Studies for 32 years in the Belmont Public Schools. He loved model railroads, photography, and astronomy and built his own telescope. He was a member of the Amateur Telescope Builders of Boston and the Mystic Valley Railroad.
Visitation will be held at the Bedford Funeral Home from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday., April 11. His funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Friday, April 12, at 11:00 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at noon.
