The Class of 2019 Senior Fashion Show was held on Friday, March 22 at Bedford High School.  It was an entertaining evening and a huge success! Because of the support of our many benefactors https://goo.gl/TVRe5D, dedicated volunteers, show attendees, raffle participants, our three BHS acapella groups, and of course the Class of 2019 models and emcees, we raised over $2800 for the 32nd Annual All Night Graduation Celebration in June!

The All Night Graduation Co-Chairs, Dawn Kociubes and Kerry Rackey, would like to extend a huge thank you to Patti Shelmire and Joan Palazzo for putting this show together for the last 3 years. Patti and Joan put in countless, much-appreciated hours!  We would all also like to thank Heather Galante, Nicole O’Toole, Katrina Faulstich, Jill Butler, Gina Piantedosi, and the BHS custodial staff for their support. Students Brendan Coyne, Emily Kociubes, Charlotte Livingston, and Aidan Duncan ran the lights and sound and offered invaluable technical assistance.

Thank you to Jeff Hoyland for photographing the 2019 Senior Fashion Show and to Bedford TV for filming it. Photos from the show can be found at this link to Bedford Snapshots on Facebook and DVDs of the Fashion Show can be purchased on the Bedford TV website (https://bedford.tv/buy-dvds/Bedford-High-School-c6735905).

Interested in learning more about the All Night Graduation Celebration that the Fashion Show supports?

Every year, parent volunteers run a safe, substance-free, electronics-free all-night graduation party on the evening following graduation.  Every graduating senior in the class of 2019 is invited, and scholarships are granted so that no student is unable to attend due to financial hardship.

The celebration is sponsored by Bedford Youth & Family Services. It is also funded by financial, food, and prize donations from the Bedford community, and is supported by the Bedford Fire and Police Departments, and the Bedford School Department.

Donors will be recognized in a future Bedford Citizen article in June 2019.
