Submitted by the Town of Bedford

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing Rtes 4/225 on Sunday evening, May 5.  The project will start at the I-95 [Rte 128] ramps in Lexington, and continue down Great Road, ending at Loomis Street in Bedford.

Night work — milling and grinding — will occur from 8 pm to 5 am. During night work, there will be eastbound detours from Loomis Street to South Road to Hartwell Avenue in Lexington.

MassDOT and the selected contractor, D & R Paving, anticipate limited day work from 9 am to 3 pm for manhole and catch basin adjustments, with night work returning for final paving.
