In addition to meetings of the Selectmen, Planning Board, School Committee, and the Conservation Commission, the Depot Park Advisory Committee and BARC, Bedford Arbor Resources Committee, meets on Tuesday evening, with the Energy and Sustainability Committee meeting on Thursday evening.

At the Selectmen’s meeting on April 22, the Department of Public Works will present their plan for spring projects. The meeting begins at 6:45.

The Depot Park Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 23 at 1:30 pm at the Town Hall. On their agenda is an update on a potential VFW building acquisition. They will also consider potential gift items from Thompson Lodge including a bench, bike racks, and a historic sign.

The Planning Board meeting will begin to prepare for a public forum on a future accessory apartments bylaw. They will also make a recommendation to the ZBA on a special permit change for the Village at Bedford Woods.

Also that evening the Arbor Resources Committee will get an update on various DPW projects. These include Middle School landscaping, Davis School tree removal and tree replacement on the library hillside.

The School Committee will meet at 7:30 pm on Tuesday evening in the high school’s large group instruction room.

The Conservation Commission meets at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 24. Their agenda includes eight projects where a “determination of applicability” will be held regarding wetland regulations.

Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, April 25 to tour the fire station at 7 pm, then reorganize and hear a financial update for FY2019.

The Energy and Sustainability Committee (ESC) will also meet on Thursday evening. They will develop a letter in support of a Climate Change Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant proposal.  They will discuss an ESC page on the Town website and a Town Sustainability Coordinator.  Finally, they will take up Styrofoam disposal.
