Town Government at Work for the Week of April 29, 2019

By Meredith McCulloch

As the Town heads into May 2019, meeting agendas for the coming week are somewhat thin on the ground, but upcoming public meetings for the Restoration Advisory Board and the Accessory Dwelling Unit forums will take place soon. There is also a call for candidates interested in the newly-established Commission on Disability.

The Energy and Sustainability Committee (ESC) will meet in the Lower Level Conference Room in Town Hall on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 pm.  Their agenda includes the development of a letter in support of a Climate Change Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant proposal.  They will also discuss an ESC page on the Town website and a Town Sustainability Coordinator.  Finally, they will take up Styrofoam disposal. (This agenda was originally posted for a meeting on Tuesday, April 30, which was canceled for lack of a quorum.)

Ad Hoc Community Garden Task Force will meet in the second-floor conference room at Town Hall on Tuesday, May 1 at 7:30 pm. The task force, which was established in September 2017, is meeting to prepare their final report for delivery to the Selectmen on May 6.
