A tranquil scene at the community gardens in Bedford’s Jordan Conservation land.

The Bedford Community Gardens at the Jordan Conservation Area on Hartwell Road currently have several plots available for use by gardeners from Bedford and beyond.

Interested gardeners should go to the Code Enforcement Office on the first floor of Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way to register and pay the $40 fee for 2019. Hours are Monday, 9 am. to 7 pm.; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm.; and Friday, 9 am to 1 pm.
