Share Your Thoughts with MetroCommon 2050 ~ Reminder

Compiled by The Bedford Citizen

In early February, Bedford’s MAPC representative Sandra Hackman shared an invitation to Bedford residents wishing to add their perspective to MetroCommon2050.

Thursday, May 23 (tomorrow!) is the final day to submit ideas, and MAPC sent the following reminder today:

Over four months, hundreds of people from everywhere in the region have told us what they want for Greater Boston’s future. MAPC took all the ideas and hopes and grouped them into the draft goals. For the few weeks, we’ve been asking people for feedback – and this Thursday, May 23, is the last day to weigh in!

Our goals cover a lot: a climate-resilient region; getting around the region conveniently and affordably; homes for all; a net zero carbon region; a healthy environment; economic security and prosperity; healthy and safe neighborhoods; thriving arts, culture, and heritage; and dynamic and representative government.

Do the goals talk about a future that you want? And if not, how should the goals change? We’ll read and record all your responses and look for trends. Then, we’ll finalize the goals with those trends in mind. Remember, you can always find out more about MetroCommon at our Digital Hub.

Thank for being part of this!
