Residents and friends are cordially invited to take part in another beloved tradition, the annual First Church Strawberry Festival. Strawberry shortcake and hot fudge sundaes will be served al fresco (weather permitting) from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 13 atFirst Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 The Great Road

This year’s festival is dedicated to the late Mickey Webber who founded the Strawberry Festival and was actively involved each year. To honor her, the community is invited to share pictures of past festivals. You can email pictures or send original photos (marked on the back so they can be safely returned) Kathy Konkle. The goal is a display of pictures for everyone’s enjoyment. We hope to find some old photos, please let us know if you have any ideas.

As always, there will be live music and plenty of homemade strawberry shortcake complete with fresh strawberries, baked biscuits, real whipped cream and Bedford Farms vanilla ice cream! Craving a chocolate fix? We’ll have hot fudge sauce too; and $1.00 off for Military families.

Thank you for helping First Church to make this a special Strawberry Festival!
