Aiming for the Moon ~ Apollo 11 Celebrates a Half-Century

By Meredith McCulloch

July 20, 2019, marks the 50th anniversary of the first humans landing on the Moon, an event an astounding achievement of which the nation remains proud.

We know that some of the hundreds (thousands?) of people who worked on Apollo now live in Bedford, or have connections to the community.

In celebration of this historic event, we invite local residents who contributed to the program at any level to share a comment or a reflection on this half-century celebration.

Congratulations to you all!
