John C. Huenefeld, a longtime Bedford resident,  passed away on June 14, 2019. Founder of The Huenefeld Company, a management consulting firm serving more than 400 modest-sized book publishers, Mr. Huenefeld also maintained an active role in the community. He served in roles as diverse as president of the Davis School PTA, chair of the Bedford Democratic Town Committee, and founding president of the Friends of the Bedford Free Public Library.

A memorial service in Mr. Huenefeld’s honor will be held at a later date, and his ashes will be interred in the Memorial Garden at First Parish in Bedford, Unitarian Universalist.
