Volunteers Needed to Serve on Town Boards and Committees

The Town of Bedford is looking for volunteers to serve on its boards and committees.

There are multiple openings available to residents with varied interests and skill sets:

  • Bedford 300 Exploratory Task Force *
  • Bedford Housing Partnership *
  • Bicycle Advisory Committee
  • Capital Expenditures Committee
  • Community Media Committee
  • Community Preservation Committee
  • Cultural Council *
  • Energy and Sustainability Committee
  • Hanscom Area Towns Committee (HATS)
  • Historic District Commission *
  • Historic Preservation Commission *
  • Municipal Affordable Housing Trust
  • Patriotic Holiday Committee
  • Transportation Advisory Committee
  • Volunteer Coordinating Committee

* These committees have two or more openings

Residents are invited to learn more about these committees, by visiting the Town’s website (httpss:/www.bedfordma.gov/boards) and/or contacting a member of the Volunteer Coordinating Committee for more information: Chair Joe Piantedosi, or members Angelo Colao, Patty Carluccio, and Jennifer Kelley.

If you are thinking about helping your Town, now or in the future, the Volunteer Coordinating Committee encourages you to attend a meeting of the committee(s) that interest you.
