The Bedford Police Department hosted their 2019 National Night Out, a community block party, on Tuesday, August 6. Scores of families and individuals (and not a few dogs) found their way to the celebration, held across Mudge Way from the police station.
Local restaurants donated food – there was chili, chicken wings, pizza, cupcakes – and there were activities, most notably the train ride that ferried kids and parents around the area.
For those who took the station tour, police badge stickers were distributed at the end of each visit.
