With a huge victory Saturday night, the Mass Warriors defeated the  Worcester Wildcats who came into the game 3-0 as the defending champions in the AA division of the England Football League (NEFL).

Mass Warriors’ defense came up big in the Wildcats game, after allowing 48 points last week against the Vermont Storm.

Coach Stephen Maycock made it a point to make sure the communication and team tackling improved at practice this week. “I feel that we had a really solid game plan going into this week,” said Maycock, “and we know we will get their best so we had to rise to another level this week and going forward.”

Walter Campos was huge, locking down Worcester’s best wide receiver all game long. Offensively, the Warriors looked to running back Jonathan Walton who had a great game with over 100 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.
