Monday’s late afternoon rain didn’t keep Davis School families from getting to the Open House planned for returning 1st and 2nd-grade students and their families.

Although teachers were not in the building, parents helped their youngsters find their classrooms in the first-floor pods (Green, Blue, and Orange) as well as those on the second floor (Red, Yellow, and Purple).

Here’s a bit of what they found!

Each of the classrooms has one of these bright and instructive rugs
A reading nook fitted with comfortable beanbag chairs is tucked into a windowed bump out
Color abounds in each of the classrooms
