Haunted Happenings in Bedford ~ October 25 and 26

October 19, 2019

At least three great community Halloween events will take place in Bedford next weekend, October 25 and 26.

Trunk or Treat

The Whole Foods Market parking lot will be full of trick-or-treaters from 3:30 to 5:30 pm on Friday, October 25.

A one-stop alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating has been sponsored for several years by the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, the Goddard School, and Whole Foods Market.

Will First Parish on the Common turn a spooky purple when the Haunted House returns on Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26? Best visit and find out!

This year’s theme, the Bedford Alchemy Society, picks up from previous years and marks the return of the Dungeon of Doom. Guests will visit differently-themed and decorated rooms throughout the historic meeting house’s three floors, interacting with various Alchemists, their creations, and the magical creatures they’ve collected from around the world.

There will be three ‘performances’ staffed by parishioners, neighbors, and friends, and each ‘showing’ is rated according to its scariness: ‘PG’ on Friday and Saturday evening; and ‘G’ with trick-or-treating, from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday.

Refreshments will be available in the Cracked Cauldron Cafe, and there will be games of chance for kids of all ages in the Three Broomsticks Gaming Room.

Tickets are $10 each and include one entry into all events. Children’s tickets include a complimentary ticket for the Three Broomsticks Gaming Room. **ALL children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times**
