In October, First Parish in Bedford Opted Up to 100% renewable energy through the Community Choice Aggregation program of electricity through the Town of Bedford. Many thanks to Bob Dorer for his work in gathering the data and presenting the information to the Parish Board on behalf of First Parish in Bedford’s Environmental Justice Committee. Thanks also to the Parish Board for considering this option. This is an important step for First Parish in reducing the harmful carbon emissions in our environment.
Given the urgency of the climate crisis, the Environmental Justice Committee urges Bedford residents to Opt Up themselves. The process is easy – to Opt Up for the Bedford program, go to the following website: https://bedfordcca.com/
