FOOTBALL

After a 7-0-0 season, the undefeated Bucs lost their MIAA playoff game against Amesbury, 39 – 21, at Sabourin Field on Saturday, November 2.

MARCHING BAND

The BHS Marching Band turned in a gold-medal performance at last Saturday’s NESBA competition.

SOCCER

Boys

With a Bye in the first round, the Bucs Boys Soccer advance to the Quarterfinals, and will play the winner of the November 4 game between Whittier and North Reading in Bedford on Wednesday, November 6.

Senior midfielder Matias Ou was named Dual County League MVP. Vince!

Girls

In the first round of the 2019 MIAA Girls’ Soccer match, Bedford will take on Hamilton/Wenham at 11 am on Sunday at Sabourin Field.

VOLLEYBALL

Bedford  Volleyball advances to the MIAA tournament quarterfinals after their first round win over O’Bryant High School in a Saturday afternoon game at Boston. The team bested Wayland, 3-0, in Friday night’s preliminary tournament round.

Bedford closed out the 3rd set 25-15; the team will advance to the D2 North quarterfinal game at Bishop Fenwick High School, scheduled for  6 pm on November 6.

UNION COLLEGE

Linsey Giles,  Union College Senior and BHS graduate in the Class of 2016, scored twice and the defense kept the Golden Knights at bay, as the Dutchwomen, the Union College women’s soccer team, defeated Clarkson University, 4-1, at College Park Field on Saturday afternoon. The game clinched a playoff berth for Union College.

At BHS Giles was a Dual County League All-Star … captained varsity soccer team … led Bedford Athletic Association in point scoring … recipient of the Bedford Athletic Association Senior Award … graduated with First Honors.
