The Bedford Police reported a water main break on The Great Road via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, November 26, and encouraged drivers to avoid the area.
According to DPW Water Operations Manager Jason Raposa, repair of the water main break across the street from the DPW building is underway, and customers’ water service has not been interrupted. The repair is expected to be completed by early evening.
