The lights were on inside Osteria Posto, the new restaurant at the Bedford Marketplace, on Friday evening but the doors were locked. Staff worked inside, testing recipes and training staff.
The Bedford Citizen was ‘authorized’ to take pictures through the glass, and there were hints that tomorrow, Saturday, November 23 might be the big day, but there was no promise.
With the reported closing of a popular nearby restaurant, Margarita’s in Lexington, Osteria Posto’s opening comes at an optimal time.
Correction ~ 11/23/2019: Waxy’s in Lexington is not closing as first reported in this story. In fact, Waxy’s will offer an entertaining series of holiday events that are open to the public from the night before Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve.
