Lorraine Poole Dooley passed away on December 6, 2019. A long-time resident of Bedford before retiring to the Cape, Mrs. Dooley and her husband Joe raised their six children here, all of whom graduated from Bedford High School. She worked at Weather Services in Bedford for many years, was an active member of the St. Michael’s Altar Guild and choir and was an enthusiastic supporter of Bedford Athletic Association and POMS.
Visiting hours will take place from 4 to 7 pm at the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, December 13 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 61 Canal Road, in Orleans.
