Snowstorms make trash and recycling collections challenging, and Monday was no exception.
Because of Monday’s weather, Republic Services pulled its trucks off the road and was unable to complete its Bedford routes. Republic also kept its trucks off the road today (Tuesday, December 3).
Republic will return to Bedford at 7 am tomorrow, Wednesday, December 4, to complete the routes it did not finish Monday.
“Republic knows what routes did not get finished from its drivers,” said Ed McGrath, Bedford’s Recycling Coordinator. “Using that list combined with the list of addresses compiled by Republic’s Customer Service Center and the DPW, the goal is to finish trash and recycling collection.”
