On Tuesday evening, January 7, voters gathered for Bedford’s annual Town Caucus chaired by Selectman Emily Mitchell. For each position, those who have already formally declared their candidacy as well as candidates who used the Caucus to announce their interest were nominated.
Voters then determined which two candidates for each position would secure the designation of “Caucus Nominee.” As a caucus nominee, candidates are automatically placed on the ballot for the March 14 Town Election.
The following is a list of all nominations for each position with the Caucus nominees identified.

According to Caucus rules being present is required in order to be nominated to be a Caucus Nominee. However, he has completed and filed nomination papers so will be on the March ballot.

It’s Not Too Late to Be a Candidate
It isn’t too late to take an alternative route to secure placement on the ballot.
Nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk’s Office.
- The deadline for taking out nomination papers is Thursday, January 23.
- Completed papers are due by close of business on Monday, January 27.
