Col. Justin S. Dunne, USMC, Commanding Officer of the 25th Marine Regiment Honored for his Service

Colonel Justin S. Dunne, USMC, commanding officer of the 25th Marine Regiment, spoke at the Greater Boston Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars at the Union Oyster House in Boston on January 7 and was honored with an award for his distinguished service to the Marine Corps.

Colonel Dunne, a decorated combat veteran, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the Naval War College, has had multiple deployments and assignments in his 25 years of active service, including Iraq and Afghanistan.

Colonel Dunne and his wife, Leah, reside at Hanscom Air Force Base with their three daughters, Lochlyn, Laurel, and Faye.

The Greater Boston Chapter is commemorating the 100th anniversary of its founding.  Established in 1919, the Military Order of the World Wars is an organization of active and former military officers inspired by the leadership of the legendary General John J. Pershing.
