Erin Sandler Rathe, president of the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and Pete Bagley, the Chamber’s new Executive Director.

The Bedford Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Peter J. Bagley has started in the role of Executive Director. Pete joined us mid-December as Maureen Sullivan retired.

Bagley brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing and consulting for businesses throughout the Boston area and across the United States.  He holds a B.S. in Business Management from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University, which he has put to good use to transform non-profit organizations for the 21st century.

A native of East Boston, Pete and his wife raised their sons in Concord before moving to Bedford several years ago. In addition to his work experience, Pete has taught entrepreneurship at both MIT and the Hult International School of Business. An avid hockey player while at BC, he has also coached and refereed hockey in and around Concord and Bedford for more than twenty years.

He has spent his first month getting to know Bedford businesses, both Chamber members and non-members, to gain insight into how the Chamber can evolve to meet the business community’s needs. The Chamber looks forward to the energy and drive that Pete brings to this position.
