Streetlight Program will Benefit the Environment

As a pilot program, the Facilities Department has installed 50 programmable photocell controls on selected street lights to be able to dim them during very light traffic.

These lights are now dimmed down to 50% from 8 pm until 4 am daily. Evaluation of the system will be ongoing.
