The Bedford Citizen and the Bedford League of Women Voters are developing a 2020 Voters Guide to be mailed to all households by early March.
It will feature profiles of all candidates, providing candidates with the opportunity to present their qualifications and positions. In addition, it will include background on the major issues to be addressed at Town Meeting with a focus on the proposed changes to the Town Bylaws and on significant capital projects planned for the next couple of years.
This project will be funded by grants from the Bedford Cultural Council, The Scharfman Fund of the Massachusetts LWV, and by donations from The Bedford Citizen’s readers during our recent fundraising drive.
The Bedford Citizen will alert readers when the publication is mailed so you don’t overlook it in your mailbox. Word will go out that the Voters Guide is coming via the daily feed, Facebook, and Twitter.
