Frank N. Scimone owner and operator of Frank Scimone Farm on Old Bedford Road in Concord passed away on March 26, 2020. Born when Emerson was a Cottage Hospital for our towns, Mr. Scimone is the last of his generation to operate the farm begun by his parents. A graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mr. Scimone was steadfastly devoted to the family farm. He embodied an unwavering passion for the daily operation of the stand, assisting customers, as well as tending to his crops and greenhouses. He will be remembered by his many Bedford customers for his selfless, giving nature to his family, friends, and neighbors.
Due to the current restriction on gatherings in light of COVID-19, there will be a private funeral service, followed by burial at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Concord. Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Mass at Holy Family Parish in Concord at a later date.
