As part of its mission to support treatment of currently incurable diseases in communities, the Bedford Research Foundation clinical laboratory, located in Massachusetts, will begin offering a highly sensitive highly specific test for SARS-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome-2), the novel coronavirus responsible for Corona Virus-Induced Disease, 2019 (Covid19).

Essential Manufacturing and Operations employees continue to work at our Bedford facility, as our products are key to acute patient care, and are shipped to customers around the world each day. Our GEM® Premier™ blood gas product line is used in the management of patients with respiratory distress (such as COVID-19 patients) and is in high demand globally.
