The Search for a New Superintendent of Schools

March 22, 2020

The search for a new Superintendent has continued despite the closure of the Bedford Public Schools.  Interviews were conducted with appropriate social distance and live-streamed via Bedford Television, with live feedback using conference call technology and continuing through an online survey.

The School Committee will meet at 7:30 pm on Thursday, March 26 to consider the finalists and select our next Superintendent of Schools.  In accordance with state and town directives, Thursday’s meeting will be streamed by Bedford TV, and public comment will be possible via a conference call at the start of the meeting.

One of the finalists, Dr. Frank Hackett, notified the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, which is providing Bedford School Committee with technical assistance, that he is withdrawing his name from consideration.

The survey is the same for each candidate.  Please complete the form for one candidate at a time, submitting that evaluation before evaluating another candidate.  To be included in the final mix, surveys need to be completed by noon on Tuesday, March 24th.
