In less than a month, Operation Feed the Soul has become something of a legend.
The grass-roots effort to support local restaurants and regional health-care workers has flourished beyond anyone’s imagination. Scores of volunteers are coordinating preparation and delivery, emailing and driving, and advocating. Its Facebook group has grown to more than 1,500 members.
The story has now been officially chronicled by videographer Leslie Wittman. The recording, featuring interviews with Suzanne Koller, founder, and Aarti Kapuria, one if the primary organizers, also includes a number of photographs of grateful medical workers and volunteers. One of the most important messages in the video is fundraising – the operation needs donations to sustain the project.
