Bedford High School Class of 2020 Awards Ceremony

May 27, 2020

Bedford High School hosted its 36th annual Class of 2020 Awards Ceremony on May 21. Principal Heather Galante introduced the evening as one acknowledging the seniors’ “scholarship, effort, and passion in our areas of curriculum.”

Rather than packing into the auditorium, friends,  families, and students joined a Zoom broadcast live-streamed by Bedford TV and now available on YouTube.

Using a theatrical backdrop, faculty and staff presented awards in Aerospace Science, Visual Arts, English, World Language, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Health, Science, Social Studies, Athletics, and General Honors.

Galante concluded the night with Hall of Fame Awards presented to each student with a GPA of 90 or above throughout their high school career. Galante ended the presentation with a quote from professor and author Brené Brown: “What we know matters, but who we are matters even more.”
