Elizabeth (Lizzie) Seibert will present a virtual book talk at 8 pm on September 23 to introduce her first young adult novel, “The Bro Code.”

An aspiring author since her days at Bedford High School, Lizzie’s writing for the story-telling platform Wattpad has attracted millions of readers. The original draft of “The Bro Code” won Wattpad’s “Most Popular Humor Story” Watts award in 2012 and to date has chalked up more than 22 million “reads.”
Her success with the story led to its acceptance as a Wattpad Book – Wattpad Books is partnered with Macmillan and Penguin Books in the UK. What began as an online story has now emerged as a full-fledged book in both paperback and Kindle version.
Here is a synopsis of ‘The Bro Code’:
“As a certified stand-up bro, Nick Maguire knows that some things in life are sacred: Do not skip ab workouts. Never back down from spicy foods.
