An Obituary: Torvy Elizabeth Johnson Hurd

Torvy Elizabeth Johnson Hurd passed away in Rutland, VT on November 1, 2020.

A 50-year resident of Bedford, Mrs. Hurd was a social worker at the Neighborhood House in Jamaica Plain, and a substitute teacher in the Bedford Public Schools for many years. She and her husband were Life Deacons and choir members at the First Church of Christ, Congregational where she often led the annual church fair and youth activities.

Plans for Mrs. Hurd’s memorial service have not yet been announced.
